Our Saddleworth women’s football team is aimed at women over the age of 25 (with most of our current squad over 35). We play in division 4 of the Women’s Flexi League with games, on average, every two to three weeks (plus friendlies sometimes too). Most of our women’s team players live in Saddleworth, Oldham or Rochdale.

We’re beginner friendly and welcome players who’ve never played before, those who perhaps haven’t played in years (some of us hadn’t kicked a ball in 20 years) and those actively playing.

March 2025 will see us take our first team away weekend to Scotland! So it’s as much about getting together with like minded women as it is the football for us. It’s a friendly team, a welcoming set up and with games not being every weekend, ideal for parents or those with too many commitments to be able to play constantly!

We train at Waterhead Academy on Tuesday nights, 9pm to 10pm, coached by Neil Beevor.
